What is Android Auto?
When you’re on the road, Android Auto for Audi replaces your vehicle’s entire infotainment system. Large, easy-to-see icons are displayed on the screen. Tapping these will reveal additional functions and controls, significantly reducing the time it takes to get to the functions you want.

Google Assistant is the flagship app in Android Auto and a tool that allows you to make and receive calls, listen to music, get directions or find a nearby restaurant. Other Android Auto features include Google Play Music, which can be accessed via a large and obvious button in the middle of the screen.
Android Auto apps can perform the same functions as their smartphone counterparts, but because of their simple interface, they are easier to use. Android Auto supports, among other things, music apps, text messages management, as well as mailbox or daily planner.
