What is Apple Carplay?
Apple CarPlay is Apple’s in-car infotainment system that is compatible with iPhones. Simply connect your iPhone to the infotainment system via USB, connect your audio system via Bluetooth and set up your phone using the simple Apple CarPlay app.
You’ll get access to contacts, messages, music streaming, maps and navigation services and emergency assistance. This system will allow you to make and receive calls, as well as use Siri voice assistant. All this puts you in absolute control of your vehicle. Apple CarPlay is pre-installed in many cars from various manufacturers, such as Audi.
There are many benefits to using Apple CarPlay that may appeal to you. One of these is the reduction of distraction for the driver, as the need for Bluetooth support is eliminated. When the system from Apple is used in tandem with a car that supports Apple CarPlay, it is much more stable in operation than Bluetooth.
