How to fill the form?
The key details we need are your current firmware and map versions. With these specifics, we can ensure the selected update aligns perfectly with your system. But how can you verify these details?
Also, keep in mind that certain vehicles produced after 2010 may share identical systems with those manufactured before 2010.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT PART! DO NOT SKIP!
If your car has been produced before 2010
Enter setup > Version information
SW: is your current firmware version
If your car has been produced between 2010 – 2016
You need to enter SETUP > Version information
Media version: is your current firmware version
Nav. database version: your current map version
in some cars, you might not see firmware informations here, so you need to enter RED ENGINEERING MENU
You will see screen similar to this, and again Most train is your current firmware version
If your car has been manufactured after 2016
There’s a new type of MMI, informations about firmware and maps can be found also in Setup > Version informations but not only, and not in every car. So if you enter Setup > Version information and you will see this:
Then you can enter Software version as current firmware version and Navigation database overall version as current map version. But if you see something like CLUBx_XXXXXX then you need to enter RED ENGINEERING MENU
Select your car from below diagram and enter REM (Red Engineering Menu).
