Convert videos to play on MMI 3G High & Plus

If you have MMI 3G High or Plus unit you are able to play videos from SDCARD’s – however they must be converted to the right format and resolution.

In this video we have used:

• https://www.y2mate.com/en17 – to download video from YouTube
• https://handbrake.fr – to convert video

Remember to set this values in convert app:

MMI 3G VIM:

Video settings:

• Frame size: 720 x 480
• Video codec: MPEG4
• Frame rate: 30fps

Audio settings:

• Audio codec: MP3
• Sample rate: 48000Hz
• Bit rate: 320 Kbps

You car by default will block display video while you driving, it can be unblocked by using VCDS and this tutorial (click).
